Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-4633

  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.

If any provisions of this act, or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the act and the application of such provisions to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. No caption of any section or set of sections shall in any way affect the interpretation of this act or any part thereof.
