Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-2112

The board of county commissioners may, by resolution, declare that it is to the best interests of such county to rent, lease or let the said home for the aged; thereupon, such board of county commisioners may, in its discretion, rent, let or lease unto a person, persons, corporation or society for the purpose of maintaining and operating said home for the aged upon such terms and conditions as the commissioners may deem to the best interests of the said county. Said lease or rental contract shall be for a period of not to exceed ten (10) years. Whenever the term of such lease has expired, such home for the aged shall again be operated by said county, unless such board of county commissioners shall again rent, let or lease the said home for the aged.
