Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 19-4728
- Accused person: means a person, corporation or other legal entity accused by a complaint of the violation of a county code or resolution. See Kansas Statutes 19-4708
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
All trials under this code shall be conducted before a judge and an accused person shall not have a right to have such person’s trial conducted before a jury.
