Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 38-549

  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • Youth: means child adjudicated to be a delinquent child, miscreant child, wayward child, traffic offender, truant, deprived child, child in need of care or juvenile offender. See Kansas Statutes 38-553

The board of directors of any youth camp or home may adopt a resolution at any time before tax moneys are available under authority of this act, and such resolution may provide for the issuance of no-fund warrants in an amount not to exceed the amount which would be produced by a one mill levy on the assessed taxable tangible property in the contracting counties. Such no-fund warrants may be issued without the approval of the state board of tax appeals, and in all other respects shall be issued in accordance to statutes related to no-fund warrants.
