- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
The health committee may provide a mechanism for direct subsidies to low and modest wage employees of employers acquiring coverage through a direct contract with a carrier rather than through the health partnership, and for provision to such employees of a supplemental benefit plan as described in subsection (a) of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 40-4704.
