  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

Stat. Ann. §§ 44-1405 and amendments thereto for the purpose of employing such individuals to repair, maintain or renovate essential community facilities that are located within the eligible jurisdiction that the entity serves.

(b) Not more than 10% of amounts received from a grant under Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 44-1402 and amendments thereto for any fiscal year may be used for the cost of administration and the acquisition of supplies, tools and other equipment.
