Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-179
- Common carrier: means any common carrier, as defined in Kan. See Kansas Statutes 66-1,215
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
- Public utility: means a public utility as defined by Kan. See Kansas Statutes 66-118a
In any action against any public utility or common carrier for violation of the provisions of law relating to such public utility or common carrier, the plaintiff may join in the same petition as many different causes of action as he may have against such public utility or common carrier.
