Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 66-1204

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.

Every railroad corporation, bureau, corporation, association or partnership, and every person, officer, agent and employee thereof, violating any of the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 66-1203, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars for each offense.
