(a) The state of Kansas sports hall of fame board of trustees may provide appropriate ceremonies to induct the persons selected pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 74-2907 and amendments thereto into the state of Kansas sports hall of fame or may contract with a private entity to provide such ceremonies. Such induction shall include appropriate awards and certification as the board of trustees deems appropriate.

(b) The entity which provides the induction ceremonies under subsection (a) may fix and charge fees for attendance at the state of Kansas sports hall of fame induction ceremonies in order to recover all or part of the expenses of such induction ceremonies.
