Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 74-32,132
- Board: means the board of education of any school district or the board of trustees of any community college. See Kansas Statutes 74-32,253
- Committee: means the nursing service scholarship review committee established under Kan. See Kansas Statutes 74-3292
- Executive officer: means the chief executive officer of the state board of regents appointed under Kan. See Kansas Statutes 74-3292
- Program: means the Kansas work-study program established by this act. See Kansas Statutes 74-3275
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
- State board: means the state board of regents. See Kansas Statutes 74-3275
As used in this act:
(a) “Committee” means the nursing service scholarship review committee established under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-3299, and amendments thereto.
(b) “Executive officer” means the chief executive officer of the state board of regents appointed under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-3203a, and amendments thereto.
(c) “Educational and training program for advanced practice registered nurses” means a post-basic nursing education program a graduate of which meets the education requirements of the board of nursing for licensure as an advanced practice registered nurse.
(d) “Medically underserved area” means a practice location designated medically underserved by the secretary of health and environment.
(e) “Rural area” means any county of this state other than Douglas, Johnson, Sedgwick, Shawnee and Wyandotte counties.
