Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 75-7051

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.

On and after July 1, 1997:

(a) The commissioner of juvenile justice may contract for any juvenile correctional services described in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-7038, and amendments thereto, from any county or group of cooperating counties which are receiving grants under Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 75-7038 through 75-7053, and amendments thereto.

(b) Any county may contract for any juvenile correctional services described in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-7038, and amendments thereto, from any county or group of cooperating counties which are receiving grants under Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 75-7038 through 75-7053, and amendments thereto, regardless of whether such county or group of counties is in the same judicial district as the county contracting for such services.
