Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 79-1015

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.

Every person failing to register as required by this act, or to execute the bond herein provided, before beginning the performance of any contract, or who violates any other provision of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000).
