- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- proffered permit: as used in this part refers to the second permit that is sent to the applicant. See 33 CFR 331.2
- Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
