Terms Used In 24 CFR Part 908 - Electronic Transmission of Required Family Data for Public Housing, Indian Housing, and the Section 8 Rental Certificate, Rental Voucher, and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs

• Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
• Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
• Donee: The recipient of a gift.
• Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
• Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). ^{Source: OCC}
• Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
• Personal property: All property that is not real property.
• PET drug: includes a "PET drug product" as defined in this section. See 21 CFR 212.1
• Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
