Terms Used In 30 CFR 1290.104
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
(a) An action that is not an order, as defined in this part; or
(b) A determination of the surety amount or financial solvency under 30 CFR part 243, parts B or C.
