(1) The determination as to whether probable cause exists to believe that a violation of chapter 455 or 492, F.S., or the rules promulgated thereunder, has occurred shall be made by a majority vote of a probable cause panel of the Board of Professional Geologists.
(2) As needed, one or more probable cause panels, consisting of three panelists each, shall be selected by, and shall serve at the pleasure of, the chairman of the board. One member of each panel may be a former board member.
(3) There shall be no limit to the number of times an eligible member may serve on probable cause panels.
