(1) The Florida Solar Energy Center, (herein called the “”Center””) shall be administered by the University of Central Florida for and on behalf of the Florida Board of Governors. The Center is located at 1679 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, Florida 32922-5703. The development of standards and testing criteria for solar energy systems, testing and evaluation of the performance of solar energy systems, as described in Florida Statutes § 377.705, shall be carried out by the Center.
(3) Copies of all standards and fee schedules published by the Center may be obtained from the Center at its above mailing address or by making an electronic request.

(2) The Center shall operate in accordance with applicable law and regulation. The purpose of the Center shall be to advance research and development in solar energy, to disseminate information on the results of such research, and to engage in projects designed to exemplify the capability of solar energy as a resource for meeting state energy needs.
