(1) The Department shall issue a temporary license to an applicant who has applied and satisfied all Department application requirements for licensure and has been accepted to take a Board approved national examination. The temporary license shall expire six (6) weeks after the scheduled exam date and shall not be valid for more than one (1) year.
(3) An applicant who does not appear to take an examination shall not receive a second temporary license to be employed and the temporary license currently held shall be invalid as of that date.
