(1) Any APRN who wishes to be registered as an autonomous APRN shall submit a completed Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Registration with Financial Responsibility document, form DH5050-MQA-07/2020, hereby incorporated by reference and available at http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-12203 on the Board’s website at www.FloridasNursing.gov. or APRN’s can register via the online portal at https://mqaonline.doh.state.fl.us/datamart/voservicesportal/.
(3) Three graduate-level semester hours are equivalent to forty-five (45) Continuing Education credits offered by the entities set forth in Section 464.013(3)(b), F.S. and subsection 64B9-4.002(2), F.A.C.
(a) The pharmacology course content must address the therapeutic uses and biological effects of drugs.
(b) The differential diagnosis course content must address advanced health assessment, differential diagnosis, critical thinking, or diagnostic reasoning.
(c) The continuing education credits must be earned within five (5) years prior to registration.
(4) For registration renewal, an autonomous APRN must complete ten (10) additional graduate-level continuing education credits from a professional or national nursing specialty board listed in subsection 64B9-4.002(2), F.A.C.

(2) In order to renew a registration, a registered APRN shall be required to submit an updated Financial Responsibility document (as incorporated by reference above), as part of the APRN license renewal process.
