Any licensed osteopathic physician who is a spouse of a person on active duty with the Armed Forces of the United States, who is absent from this state because of the spouse’s duties with the Armed Forces, and who, at the time the absence became necessary, was in good standing with the Board of Osteopathic Medicine, shall be exempt from biennial renewal of his or her license, payment of required fees hereunder, and performance of any other act on his or her part necessary for license renewal.
