(1) To participate in the Child Care Food Program, all child care facilities and family day care homes must hold a current and valid license pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 402, unless exempt from such license requirements.
    (2) Day care home and child care center sponsoring organizations must have an office physically located within the geographical boundaries of the State of Florida and must ensure that any contact made by the Department of Health, Bureau of Child Care Nutrition Services, is acknowledged within 24 hours of the time of contact.
