(1) Remittances by Clerks of the Court. This rule chapter sets forth the rules to be used in the administration of Florida Statutes § 213.13, which provides for the electronic remittance of all funds collected by the Clerks of the Court (“”Clerk””) on behalf of the state or on behalf of the Court for distribution to the state and the electronic transmission of return/remittance detail to the Department of Revenue for further disbursement to the various trust funds and agencies as designated in the applicable statutes.

(2) Remittances by Municipalities and Counties. This rule chapter also sets forth the rules to be used in the administration of
Florida Statutes § 316.0083, which provides for the electronic remittance of the traffic infraction detector penalties collected by municipalities or counties (“”Local Government””) and the electronic transmission of return/remittance detail to the Department of Revenue for disbursement to the designated funds.
