A branch or separate office of a bank is a separate bank for the purpose of computing the time within which and determining the place at or to which action may be taken or notice or orders shall be given under this division and under Division 3 (commencing with Section 3101).

Terms Used In California Commercial Code 4107
- Bank: means a person engaged in the business of banking, and includes a savings bank, savings and loan association, credit union, and trust company. See California Commercial Code 1201
- Branch: includes a separately incorporated foreign branch of a bank. See California Commercial Code 1201
