Notwithstanding Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1000) of Division 1, no landowner voting district election shall be consolidated with any resident voter election regardless of whether it is held pursuant to this part. Except as specified in the preceding sentence, an election conducted by a district subject to this part may be consolidated with any other election pursuant to Part 3 (commencing with Section 10400).

Terms Used In California Elections Code 10555
- Election: means any election including a primary that is provided for under this code. See California Elections Code 318
- Landowner voting district: means a district whose principal act requires an elector to be an owner of land located within the district. See California Elections Code 10500
- Voter: means a voter or elector as respectively defined in the principal act of each district or agency. See California Elections Code 10500
