(a) A fast food restaurant operator shall not discharge or in any manner discriminate or retaliate against any employee due to the employee’s participation in or testimony to any proceeding convened by the council.
(b) The council shall be deemed a governmental agency for purposes of subdivision (a) of Section 1102.5.
