(a) This part applies to any instrument, whenever executed, that became irrevocable on or after January 1, 2001.
(b) This part does not apply to an instrument that became irrevocable before January 1, 2001.
Terms Used In California Probate Code 21315
- Instrument: means a will, a document establishing or modifying a trust, a deed, or any other writing that designates a beneficiary or makes a donative transfer of property. See California Probate Code 45
