The board may adopt regulations consistent with this chapter and § 111485 of the Health and Safety Code or regulations adopted thereunder, limiting or restricting the furnishing of a particular drug upon a finding that the otherwise unrestricted retail sale of the drug pursuant to Section 4057 is dangerous to the public health or safety.
