Subject to the privileges which witnesses have in the courts of this State, the ombudsman may:
Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 96-10
- Subpoena: A command to a witness to appear and give testimony.
- Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
The ombudsman may bring suit in an appropriate state court to enforce these powers.
