Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 271G-17.5
- Certificate: means a certificate of public convenience and necessity issued under this chapter to common carriers by water. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 271G-5
- Commission: means the public utilities commission. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 271G-5
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Vessel: means any watercraft or other artificial contrivance of whatever description that is used, or capable of being used, or intended to be used, as a means of transportation by water. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 271G-5
