- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Transferor: means an individual who executes a transfer on death deed. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 527-2
This chapter applies to a transfer on death deed executed at any time by a transferor who dies on or after July 1, 2011.
