Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 310 ILCS 10/8.7

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     In connection with any examination or investigation conducted by an Authority, the provisions of § 23 of the State Housing Act shall apply and the Authority shall have the same powers to apply to the Circuit Court of the county within which lies the area of operation to compel the attendance of witnesses or the production of documents and records including, but not limited to, books, papers, tape recordings, computerized data and computer print-outs, as conferred on the Department by § 24 of the State Housing Act, and in the manner therein provided.
