Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 610 ILCS 5/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Such persons shall organize by adopting and signing articles of incorporation, which shall be filed and recorded in the office of the Secretary of State and a copy thereof rendered in the office of the recorder of each county through or into which such railway is proposed to be run.
