Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 775 ILCS 30/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     It is the policy of this State to encourage and enable persons who are blind, persons who have a visual disability, and persons who have other physical disabilities to participate fully in the social and economic life of the State and to engage in remunerative employment.
