- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
The Secretary may summarily suspend the license of an athletic trainer without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 20 of this Act, if the Secretary finds that evidence indicates that an athletic trainer’s continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the Secretary suspends, summarily, the license of an athletic trainer without a hearing, a hearing shall be commenced within 30 days after such suspension has occurred and shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible.
