This Act does not prohibit:
(1) any person licensed in this State under any other

(2) the practice as a physician assistant by a person
who is employed by the United States government or any bureau, division or agency thereof while in the discharge of the employee’s official duties;

(3) the practice as a physician assistant which is
included in their program of study by students enrolled in schools or in refresher courses approved by the Department.

- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
