Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 490/86
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
September 11th of each year is designated as September 11th Day of Remembrance to be observed throughout the State as a day set apart in honor and remembrance of the persons killed and injured in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
