- Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
This amendatory Act of 1959, reducing from 50 to 40 years the period referred to in Section 4 and adding Section 5a shall not be held to revive any possibility of reverter or rights of entry or re-entry for breach of condition subsequent heretofore barred by this Act.
