A burial benefit of up to a maximum of $20,000 shall be payable to the surviving spouse or estate of a law enforcement officer or fireman who is killed in the line of duty after June 30, 2018.
The Attorney General and the Court of Claims may jointly adopt rules and procedures for the implementation of this Section.
