Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 1605/10.4

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Every person who shall violate the provisions of Section 10.3, or who does not segregate and keep separate and apart from all other funds and assets, all proceeds from the sale of lottery tickets received by a person in the capacity of a sales agent, shall upon conviction thereof be guilty of a Class 4 felony. The provisions of this Section shall be enforced by the Illinois State Police and prosecuted by the Attorney General.
