Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 2620/2

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     The Illinois State Police shall enforce all laws regulating the production, sale, prescribing, manufacturing, administering, transporting, having in possession, dispensing, delivering, distributing or use of controlled substances as defined in the “Illinois Controlled Substances Act”, and cannabis as defined in the “Cannabis Control Act” enacted by the 77th General Assembly, as now or hereafter amended, and any other duties conferred upon the Illinois State Police by law.
