Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 3205/20
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The State of Illinois pledges to and agrees with any tenant under any management agreement entered into by the Authority with respect to a facility and any governmental owner of a facility with which the Authority has entered into an assistance agreement with respect to such facility and, if applicable, its tenant that the State will not limit or alter the rights and powers vested in the Authority by this Act so as to impair the terms of any such management agreement or assistance agreement or in any way impair the rights and remedies of such tenant or governmental owner or its tenant so long as the tenant or governmental owner or its tenant is not in default thereunder. In addition, the State pledges to and agrees with such tenant, any governmental owner of a facility, and its tenant, if applicable, that the State will not limit the basis on which State funds are to be allocated, deposited and paid to the Authority, or the use of such funds, so as to impair the terms of any such management agreement or assistance agreement. The Authority is authorized to include this pledge and agreement of the State in each management agreement and assistance agreement.
