Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 60 ILCS 1/95-15
- Juror: A person who is on the jury.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
On the trial of every action in which the township is a party or interested, the electors and inhabitants of the township shall be competent witnesses and jurors, except that in suits and proceedings by one township against another, no inhabitant of either township shall be a juror.
