- Month: means a calendar month, and the word "year" a calendar year unless otherwise expressed; and the word "year" alone, is equivalent to the expression "year of our Lord. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.10
The restated articles of incorporation and the other documents so delivered to the Director may be approved or disapproved by the Director in the same manner as original articles of incorporation. If said restated articles of incorporation be approved by the Director, he shall place on file in his office all the documents so delivered to him, except one of the duplicate originals of the restated articles of incorporation, and shall endorse upon such duplicate original his approval thereof and the month, day and year of such approval and deliver it to the company. The restated articles shall be effective as of the date of the approval thereof by the Director.
