Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/55-40
- Board: means the governing and administrative body of the Chicago South Civic Center Authority. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 200/55-5
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
A majority of all the appointed members of the Board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. All actions of the Board shall be by ordinance or resolution, and the affirmative vote of at least a majority of all the appointed members shall be necessary for the adoption of any ordinance or resolution.
