Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 735 ILCS 5/8-1301
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
All testimony that has been or may hereafter be taken by commissions of surveyors for the establishing of original corners of land, shall be filed with their report in court, and may hereafter be read as evidence in all actions in reference to such corners.
