Each Circuit Judge may employ a secretary. The secretary shall be appointed by and shall hold office at the pleasure of the judge. The salary for the secretary, payable out of the State Treasury, shall be commensurate with the secretary’s education, training, and experience based upon the guidelines established by the classification and compensation plan for comparable positions maintained by the state Personnel Cabinet pursuant to KRS
