In the interest of the public health and for the purpose of providing adequate sanitation and drainage facilities in each county containing a city of the first class, there may be created and established therein one or more sanitation tax districts, under the provisions of KRS § 76.005 to KRS § 76.295, having the powers, duties and functions prescribed in KRS
76.005 to 76.295, and to be known by and under the name of …. (name) sanitation tax district. Such a district under its name shall be a public body corporate and political subdivision, with power to adopt, use and alter at its pleasure a corporate seal, sue and be sued, contract and be contracted with, and in other ways to act as a natural person, within the purview of KRS § 76.005 to KRS § 76.295. Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 76.274


(1) Territory in the district area of a metropolitan sewer district,
(2) Sewered areas which are connected to the district facilities of a metropolitan sewer district, and
(3) Sewered areas which have paid a capital investment recovery fee, or are paying the same, to a metropolitan sewer district to reimburse the metropolitan sewer district for that portion of its capital expenditures equitably allocable to the sewered area.
