Whenever in the opinion of the agency, land or other property, right of way or easement over or through any property is needed by the agency in order to accomplish the purposes of KRS § 99.330 to KRS § 99.510, it may by resolution authorize the purchase or condemnation in the name of the agency, of the land or other property, or right of way or easement necessary for the purpose, and may proceed to condemn and acquire the property pursuant to the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky.
