Any twenty (20) or more farmers who are residents of one (1) or not more than five (5) counties of this state, whether they own the land they farm or not, may form a nonprofit livestock protective corporation without capital stock under the provisions of KRS
272.360 to 272.510.

- Livestock: means cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, alpacas, llamas, buffaloes, or any other animals of the bovine, ovine, porcine, caprine, equine, or camelid species. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
- State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
