In respect of the following documents, the fees to be collected by the Secretary of State for filing, when required by this chapter, shall be:
(1) Articles of incorporation, eight dollars ($8); (2) Articles of amendment, eight dollars ($8);

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • Domestic: when applied to a corporation, partnership, business trust, or limited liability company, means all those incorporated or formed by authority of this state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • Foreign: when applied to a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, business trust, statutory trust, or limited liability company, includes all those incorporated or formed by authority of any other state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010

(3) Restated articles of incorporation, eight dollars ($8); (4) Articles of merger or consolidation, eight dollars ($8); (5) Articles of dissolution, five dollars ($5); and
(6) Any other statement or report of a foreign or domestic corporation, eight dollars
($8).
